Question Boyesen RAD Valve Help

G'day guys.

Just wondering if anyone knows what are the differences in reed intact design between a 01 and 00 YZ125 are?
I ask this because I have found a Boyesen RAD Valve on eBay and he listed it for 1999-2002 YZ125's.

I asked him what the part number is. He replied with "rad33f"
I checked on the Boyesen website and it shows that each year model (99,00,01,02) has a different part number. "rad33f" is the part number of the one that whould fit a 01.

My question is what's the difference between the 01 and 00 reed intact designs? Obviously they must be different or else they would all have same numbers.

This probably seems stupid but I would like to know if I can mod it to fit my bike. But I don't know what the difference is.

If anyone out there who has a Boyesen RAD Valve on there 2001 or 2000 YZ125, could you please tell me what part number it is?

Thanks in advance!

Uhm, Aus, I think you know the correct answer here. If Boyesen has different part numbers, then obviously youd be wise to find a deal on the correct one for your bike. On another note, have you tried looking up the part numbers that Yamaha supplies for the stock part? If they are the same, then maybe you could use the Boyesen unit you found, but Id still want the correct model specified by Boyesen to ensure Im not missing out on something they may have figured into it.

Yeh, I was pretty sure they were different, but I was unsure what was different. Thanks for the reply.
