Default Blowing black goo out the breather tube.

My son has a 2003 YZ125 and it runs fine (actually runs great). When you park it after riding, several big drops of black goo will drip out of the crankcase breather tube (i thnik that is what it is called). Is this normal?

Are you sure that it's the crankcase breather tube and not the power valve breather tube?

Yes, that is perfectly normal on the YZ. It's designed to do that to keep that "ooze" from drying into build up on the power valves.

Default My 02 does the same

It's totally normal. Make sure to clean your power valve compartment really good when you do your top-end again b/c that stuff does get nasty in there.
