 Best Birthday Ever
So yesterday, Sunday the 20th was my 33rd Birthday. I have been working so much lately that I haven't ridden in about 3 months and I finally had a chance to go riding.
My wife was very adamant about me going to the track, because I hadn't been in a few months. It was really nice day and I was meeting my buddy for some afternoon laps. As I was loading my truck at home, I asked my wife if she wanted to bring our 9 month old daughter to the track so we could all be together for the day. She said she had some errands to run and that she would see me later when I got home... Excited about going riding but kind of bummed she wasn't going with me I headed to the track to meet my friend. About 5 minutes after I rolled into the track and was unloading my bike, my wife pulls up behind me, she drove up to the track to surprise me after-all. She then tells me to go back to the gate and get my money back, the track owner said I can ride for free today.
As my daughter and I are walking back to my truck, my buddy rolls up behind me. We talk for a few minutes and then something catches my eye and I stop in my tracks. I look in the back of his truck and there is a Brand New 2005 YZ 250 next to his 2003 YZF 250. I said to him, when did you get a new bike and he says it's not his. I look over at my wife who at this point has the video camera out and says Happy Birthday! I was floored! There I was being given a brand new bike at the track on my birthday. What an amazing day. I have the BEST wife ever!
