| im in the process of getting a manual so all these questions will stop soon. does anybody know the weight of the oil that i should put in a 2000 yz 125? |

| That question has a million and one answers. Search the forum and you will see. However I have a 2000 yz 125 myself and they manual calls for regular motor oil 10w30 or 10w40. Personally I run 15w40 Rotella T. It's cheap (in cost) good quality oil and doesn't have any of the energy efficient modifiers in it that seem to cause a lot of controversy over use with a wet clutch. |

| There is also a great write up on transmission oil choices in the 2-stroke Knowledge Base It is very informative and can answer any questions you might have concerning oil weight, energy conserving qualities of the oil, etc. I read it yesterday and it helped me. Hope this helps |
