The old rule was that you could go to .080 over. That is virtually the same as 2mm. Like John said, they did away with that rule in the past couple of years.

BTW, my CR480 is .080 over. That makes it 517cc if my calculations are correct. Ain't it great what a 2mm overbore can do on a big bore.

Why else would they do away with the open class to make the 2 stroke 500 obselete then Build in a rule for 450's The 500 was twice the bike the overpriced to exspensive to fix 450 will ever BE!

Exactly what I think!!! They are weeding out the true race bike. Which we all know is the true race bike!!! It is way lighter and way faster for equall engine size!!!You would not see this in any other sport where one competitor get one size motor and another gets twice the motor size.

if there going to ban anything they need to ban leaf blowers man i know of two here in my neiborhood i wouldn't mind seeing go if they really want to clean the air they would forget 2 strokes and go after diesel trucks
