for a '99 $2000 would be a good buy...maby. but as i say...with a 2-stroke you could either get a deal or another persons problem. get someone who knows their sh*t and go look at it with you. ASK IF YOU CAN TEST DRIVE IT! even if its only around their lawn. you seem to be the right size....you weigh a lil more than me and i comfortably ride a CRF 250R...basically the same as a 125. be prepared to spend a bita $ to get it up to snuff, because i garuntee you that hes not givin you a dandy lil bike redy for racin'.

hope this helped you a bit...good luck. P.S. listen to other posts!!! haha these guys know their stuff.

$2000.00 for any '99 125 would be on the high side for my area. If it's really nice, maybe ok. Figure it will at the least need a fresh top-end if he can't tell you when it was done last. Good luck!

when he say new top end what does he mean ? piston , rings ,jug ,cylinder head . alot of people say new top end and all they did was piston and rings . if he did replace the whole top end ask why . he may have scored the cylinder and metal fell into the crankcase and if that happened did he get all out ?????
if it all was not cleaned out watch out. it happened to me . and that was not cheap to fix

Default 2000 YZ125

I have a 2000 YZ125 I am asking $1750 for. I am in Southern Indiana. It has a new ring, FMF SST exhaust and silencer, Renthal Fat Bars, and Maxx MaxCross IT tires. Just had the forks and shock serviced.

It is in really good condition, very well maintained. All bearings are in good condition. I keep the axles and linkage greased.

send me an e-mail if you are interested

One of my friends just bought one here about two months ago for 1500. I would say 2200 is a little high.
