Bike seams to be a bit lean 1/4 gas full throttle is ok but the engine will not run iddle.
Also there is no throttle stop screw on a 99? seems al other bikes have these
i only have the airscrew.

p.s. the throttle response electronic are working!

I set my airscrew by idleing the engine up(at operating temp) pretty high with the idle screw. Its black, kinda right above the airscrew. It might be different than on your carb, but probably close to the same area. Then I turn the airscrew "in"(clockwise) until it almost stalls..then I go the other direction until it begins to idle rough. In between those "conditions" it should reach a maximum idle rpm. You should be able to determine where that is by ear. That is what they call the "sweet spot". Then I usually go about a 1/8 to a quarter turn in the richer (clockwise) direction.

This info is from Kenny400.

You probably have the idle circuit in the choke. Try turning the choke knob counter-clockwise and see if it helps.

i don't have a idle screw so it must be the idle circuit in the choke.
I will try this.

Another problem is that the bikes seems to be on the lean only 1/4 gas
Full throttle is ok and the sparl plug is coffee brown.

I own this bike for a couple of months now, put some boyessen reeds on it and a spes exhaust with silencer. What do i need to do about this?

Why do u want your 2 stroke to idle??? when it doesn't, its race tuned and you get the best preformance on the track. when ur warming it up, just wait a sec. and it will warm up in about 50 seconds. just blip the throttle andkeep it running. when i moved from a 4 stroke to a 2 stroke, it was different, but i have gotten used to it...i really like it better.

You should be able to get your bike to idle.

I can see where robertc is coming from but I would think most people would want their bike to keep running without having to keep revving it.

When I go for a ride on my track I need to open and close a gate, and this means the bike idling by itself while I take hands of bars to unlatch the gate.

I guess it really doensn't matter whether you want you bike to idle or not, but for most it comes in handy, especially on the side of a hill when you don't want your bike to stall and have to kick it on the side of this hill.

It sounds like a lean pilot jet. First try turning your airscrew in and see if it runs better. Something to remeber is that if have you turn in your airscrew more than a 1/2 of a turn from being closed go bigger on the pilot and retest and if you go more that 2 1/2 turns out from being closed, get a leaner pilot and retest.
