96 yz 250 oil

Hi guys, Just changed from a yam 4 stroke to 2 stroke, Brill !!!!!!!!!!!
After some info and you guys no wot your talking bout.
1st How much oil do i have to put in, couple of garages have told me diff amounts, also whats the best oil to use.

Which oil are you talking about? The premix oil or the transmission/clutch oil?

Premix is 32:1, many will say different brands, its your own personal preference.
Transmission is 756ml? of either ATF or 4 cycle oil. I prefer the ATF.

yeah the tranmission oil. thats great mate thanks.
how often would you change it, the bike gets used 2/3 times a week, for 2/3 hrs at a time, Field use only.

I only change mine about ever 4 rides or so, seems to work ok never seen a problem yet.

What I mean is `Well done on the conversion from 4 to 2 smoke. I`m pritty biased as I have a pinger myself but I`m not dissing the Thumpers either

I know theres alot of 4 - stroke risers here

Anyway sorry couldn`t help with the question, I know about 800ml goes in my KX.
