Default 2000 yz250 generator

My 250 blew up not to long ago and im currently taking it apart but I am having trouble getting the generator off, can somebody help me?

it is pretty simple once the rotor is off. you need a flywheel or flywheel rotor puller if we are speaking in more complete terms. dont try it with anything else. i am betting that any shop will have one to sell for under 20 dollars that is meant for models including yours. again, don't try it without it.

Once the flywheel is off I use an impact driver to loosen those philiphead screws.

If they don't want to come loose with a regular screwdriver I use one of the hammer driven impacts.

yeap that's the one. There are quite a lot of those not loosening philip head screws around
