 1998 YZ125 power valve check This is my first post. I've had two strokes in the past but none of them had power valves. The motor won't pull high RPM's but the idle and midrange seem ok. I cleaned the carb, put in a new plug and fresh premix and it still isn't right. I removed the right side inspection cover and can see the linkage move as I rev the engine. Now I want to look at the power valve itself, but it the inspection plate is right behind the frame rails. Is there an easy way to check the power valve without pulling the motor? Am I on the right track?  |
