| The WR's are nice bikes they have a little less power than the yz's but this may be because of the wide transmission. I had a 95 that was converted to a YZ smaller tank. |

| It is a great bike. The reason that they feel like they do not have as much power than the yz's is mostly due to a much heavier flywheel. The wide ratio trans as noted will make it seem like there is more "space" when shifting up, as the gaps are bigger between the gear ratios. The 94 and I believe the 95 came with the older type round slide VM carburetor, but I am sure yours came with a flatslide. All the long rod tricks as well as doing the boost port mods will work on yours just like they did on the yz's of the day. enjoy it. |
