Default 1982 yz100j

Dose anyone know how to hook up a carb on an yz100j I have 2 lines that I have no clue where they go. One is coming out the bottom and one on the left side from the back of the carb I need help finding out where they go any help would b appreciated

one is your overflow/vent tube and the other is for draining the carb bowl with the carb on the bike

but do they have to connect to anywhere or do i just leave them on hooked b/c last time i left them unhooked they both just started to spew the fuel when i turned on the fuel and yes they are tubes sorry for my choice of words earlier

if they both started to drain fuel than you have 2 things to do

1. for the drain tube: on the bottom of your float bowl, there should be a little screw(either flat head or phillips) tighten that up(not heavily though! its soft aluminum!) and that should stop that

2. for the over flow tube, it is draining out of there because your float is set too high or you "needle and seat" are worn out

if your float is set right or you get it and it is still overflowing, replace you needle and seat which should be more than a few bucks and it will solve all the problems, but its most likely your float height

and no they don't have to go anywhere real special, as long as your over flow tube isn't obstructed by dirt and can vent to the atmosphere it should be ok to let it hang under the carb
