03 yz125 idle way to high

First some background, i bought an 03 yz125 already torn apart ready to be rebuilt. after getting most parts needed i finally got the bike rebuilt but it wouldnt start so i jump started it and the throttle seemed to be stuck wide open. ive tried adjusting my throttle cable and idle screw....any ideas what could be the problem?

pull the air box off the bike and start it, check to see if the throttle is WFO by itself, if it is, then check the cable or breaks or kinks or routing issues, if the throttle is all the way closed but still runs at WFO than you have an air leak

for a possible fix lube your throttle cable

You should be able to hear the carb slide slamming shut if you release the throttle from w.o.t poistion. (bike not running)
