Default Lt 50 Full Thottle Problem

I have an lt 50 that has been de-restricted (exhaust and intake). it has a 57 main jet and has the first jet taken out, leaving the second one there. airbox is standard. The needle clip is second from bottom.

The problem is when on full throttle it seems to lack power and sounds as if it has top end miss.On half throttle it fly's and is much faster than on full throttle.

I tried moving the needle clip up one and cleaned out the carb no difference.
Put a new plug in and that didn't solve the problem.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP? as i say it really shifts up untill you give it full wack. im sure theres more power there somewhere.

I don't understand this comment???

3/4 to full throttle is the main jet. Sounds like you may need to try to go richer or leaner on the main jet.

How did it run before??
What was done to the bike to make it run this way?

Dont know how the quad ran before. The washers were already removed from the exhaust and intake before i bought it.

i removed the first pilot jet leaving the second pilot jet there as i was told to do this if the quad had been de-restricted. it made the quad quicker up to half throttle but didnt solve the top end miss.

But as you say it uses the main jet for 3/4 to full. tried adjusting the fuel mix but made no difference. do i need to get a different main jet?
