The Quality swayed me. Yamaha's castings suck. The Yamaha had a plastic ignition cover. The welds were not as nice. It seems that Yamaha has put all its effort into the thumpers annd the 2 strokes were just cranked out. It also seems Suzuki offroad put a lot of input on this bike. I am riding harescrambles and the grunty power along with the tighter turning radius made the desision easier. Most of all the bike fit me better. Plus the fact that it is somthing new. ---Mike

I have Devol radiator braces, frame gaurds and a skid plate on the way. FMF Gnarky pipe and powercore 2 s/a. Protapers , Applied clamp set. Bark busters and a gold did X ring chain. I just need to get springs tires and I am dialed. I am going with a Steahly flywheel wieght as well. Soon as my empty wallet grows a bit! Funny, carmichael singed in Pontiac, MI the same day as I bough my bike! I will be at the Pontiac Silverdome tomorrow watching supercross. Is it an omen? I am gunna rip!!!!!!!!

Ok, now your just making everybody green with envy, first you pick the right bike (as far as 04 2strokes go) then you get the perfect bolt-ons for offroad. With the grunt factor that motor already has plus the "Gnarky" pipe as you call it and a flywheel weight your going to have a fun fun ride for scrambles.

Give us the report when you get a chance to let it rip.

Yeah the Gnarky pipe is a one off componet made for Team Suzuki off road! : Otherwise known as a typo! Figured I might as well getting it set up. I need to break in the suspension. Get it dialed. I am going to start tearing it down and getting it all greased up. While its down I can do the triple clamps and radiator brades. I will put tires and chain on it. I just need to figure out what flywheel wieght to put on it. I think I will go for the 9 oz. What do you guys think? 9 or 11 oz? What about gearing? Usually I go 2 bigger on the rear. I see that Team Suzuki off road uses stock rear and 1 bigger in the front!!??? Seems odd ---Mike

Call Ron at Full Throttle in Lansing. He will beat any deal you can find in Michigan. Take him some numbers tell him I sent ya. You will get it under $5500 out the door if you look. My deal was kinda speacial.

Holy cow! I just ran it up and down my road. It has so much grunt it is crazy. I dont think adapting from my thumper will be an issue! This has the best power I have rode on a pinger. I really think I can do well on this bike. I am used to my YZ 426 and WR 450. I am very happy with my choice so far. This was on twenty to one swill that the dealer put in it! I am going to tear it down grease it up and work some magic. This thing does not need a pipe. Crazy fast I am stoked!
