Default weeping seals

So there are fairly new seals in my forks
(its a 2001 ktm 250exc, WP 43mm forks)
and ive noticed alot of fork oil coming from the seals.
is this normal for new seals to do?
and how could i fix this?

after a days riding, there is usually a drop of fluid coming off the bottom of my fork.
thanks, Zach

Not normal at all. By the way, which post would like for your answers to come on?

If they had been on for very long I would suggest cleaning them, but improper installation is all that I can think of in your case, since they are new. That to me means doing it again.

When I put my new seals in, the one leaked a little for the first ride. I think oil just got between the wiper and the seal. It has never leaked since then. If it's leaking there's definitely an issue.

Try pulling up you wiper and using film negative or old tear off and clean the seal. If something gets in there it will leak. If this doesn't help you could have damaged the seal when replacing it. Did you cover the fork end with plastic wrap and grease when putting it on?
