![]() I'm sure you are sick of answering this, but how do yuou maintain a two stroke? I know nothing of changing piston, sprockets, I dont even know how to change oil...I am only 13 though..still no excuse. So if you guys could explain some simple ways to maintain your 2 stroke bike, I would be extremely grateful. (While writing replys, remember I know nothing of changing anything on a bike, so if you can try to explain that also, that would be great!!!) |

![]() It is a pretty wide open process. You should get a manual on your bike before you buy any "improvements". Now, while you are waiting for that to arrive, get a spiral notebook or better yet one with the zip around cover so that you can keep notes and dates that you performed certain things. The first thing you need to know is how to check the oil and adjust the chain or to inspect it. The next is setting tire pressure and checking spokes. Just the common sense things you need so you don't have to walk home. Post again with your bike and any particulars on it and someone can get you started. You can get some schematics on how things go together by going to bikebandit.com etc and looking up your model and such things as the carburetor. Not as good as a manual, but something you can refer to to see which order things go in. So start with "what kind and model of bike". |
