Default Change to Synthetic oil

I have 99 yz125 I just bought. It runs GREAT! Cranks 1st kick cold. The last owner ran Yamalube 2-R semi synthetic in it at 40:1. I want to run Bel-Ray H1R full synthetic in it at 40:1. Can I change over by just draining the fuel out that is in it now? I know I should probably run 32:1 but my son has a harescramble race coming up this weekend and dont want to risk fouling and dont have time to re-jet.
Can I run full synthetic without a problem? or stay with semi until I do the top end?

Your engine won't care as far as the lubricant goes. Your jetting probably won't be bothered by it either since neither oil contains anything that takes an "active" part in the combustion.
