I'm following the build, but don't have much knowledge to contribute. So, I haven't posted before. Looks like a heck of a build.

Only saying that because seems like parts re going to take a LONG time to arrive..... Suppliers are busy and a lot of parts are heading to Japan for kashima coat etc.... So going to be a WHILE...
Anyways I'll keep the parts updates coming but currently some shed update

Ive currently got two threads on different sites and soon to be a third ( vital MX and TT )
Just a lot of updates to do between all three that's all... So just seeing who is watching the build as I'll continue updates if it's generating interest if you know what I'm getting at

Alrighty... Small update!

After a few emails I Finally have my oem parts orders complete from partzilla!! Also got a few goodies in...
Rear rim, piston kit/gaskets, spokes.

I've got some custom lines being made by motion-pro for the clutch and throttle cables, will be a nice touch to the bike both in function and aesthetically! I'll get a picture of the rims tomorrow but I'm LOVING the gold...so retro-modern I'm really excited!!

Are you going with a theme of your own Stevo, or doing a replica build?

I'm going with 'a theme of my own' with many ideas taken from Dogger315 various bikes. The idea is a throwback bike with a modern look...kind of like the round of AMA supercross where they do a retro round. Also, I'm building the bike to replica what a 'top line' racer might ride on, factory bike etc .... We will see how far we get with that....

Don' tworry about it. I was trippin

Was hoping you'd say it'll be a retro themed build. Been wanting to do one myself for ages but keep getting side tracked.
I was just going to do an 06 RM with Blue frame, Blue engine, and old school graphics. Sold my RM's now though.

Can't wait to see how yours turns out. Anyone my age is a fan of the gold rims.

Ok some decent updates! The good thing about this build is that parts are easy to get

Here's the first lot of OE parts

I thought this was a cool little piece to add! New compression adjuster....

And I got the left case today which was a fraction of the new one!

Still waiting on my partzilla order.......
