Default 1993 Honda CR250 Build Finally Finished

Wrapped up the 93 CR250 today. Rolled it out for some "hero"
shots before I get it all dirty. Here are some pictures of the
last year of work.

Holy crap you sir did an amazing job A+++++++
the best part is that these bikes are still pretty darn good even by todays standards, handling, suspension and power.unless your a very fast guy who is very competive these things are great machines.I am having a blast on mine and i race mx with an over 40 mx club, so far i am very competitve off the gate which is where i thought i would have the biggest disadvantage.congrats on a great build...now go have some fun with it

Stunning !

I still sure wish you would reconsider using it and keep it in your private collection of 100 point perfection.

Outstanding work good sir.

Very, very, very, nice.

I'm gonna have to break down and buy a new tank... Every time you post pics my "yellow" tank makes me cry.

I have a '96, what year can I take a white air box from that will fit mine?

It looks excellent Dogger. Somehow just by looking at it, you can tell that bike wants to turn well. Really great rebuild on this one! Even better than the day it rolled off the showroom floor. Now if I could only get mine done, Its looking more like a Spring/Summer project. I might go Carmichael Replica.

Excellent rebuild. That color of red is beyond words.

Couple of questions for you:

Why did you choose the Pro Circuit pipe and silencer over stock/FMF/alternative?
Why did you choose the V-Force 3 reed valve over a Boyesen/stock setup?

Also, please be sure to report how the bike runs/rides/handles/etc. once you get it all setup. I'd be especially interested in how it compares to newer machines you've ridden recently.
