Btw, those footpegs were just a direct fit right? I wonder if I could do the same for my cr125? Did you buy yours new?
I'm not sure if the steelie and beer can frames use the same size/style peg mount, but they might fit. I put YZF pegs on my 98 CR500, direct fit. Use the Yamaha springs and pins even. You could cross-reference peg part numbers from a late model steelie to your 125 to get a good idea if they will work or not.

Sweet! Time to go school some 4Ts.

Amazing those YZ pegs bolted right up, great find.

cowboyana is right, the peg mounts are different on the two frames.
What fits on a steelie will angle up at about 30-40 degrees on an
Aluminum frame. You can solve this by grinding down the stops
on the pegs. If your pegs are Titanium, be prepared to spend some
time and maybe more than one grinding stone.

This is an older thread but I have a quick question. After I finished the build we put the bike in my basement where it has sat for the last 2 years. Never did ride it! Any idea on what its worth to sell? I know I can’t get my money out of it as I spent about $7500 including the original cost of the bike. Any ideas?
