Default 1968 Honda CT 90

Hello to those few forum veterns who may remember me. Its been a couple years since my last post/project. I was shocked when I looked at my last thread and saw that over 81 thousand people had shown some interest in it. Well, I have new project and a couple people have urged me to do a build/rebuild thread like Ive done on a couple other bikes. This particular sub-forum didn't exist when I did the other threads. Like me, my rides and projects are "vintage", so the threads are in the forum with that name.
First a little background to set the context: "1968 CT 90"? What happened to the guy? Last I heard he was riding sweep on a WR 450 and/or a XL600. Maybe I'm thinking about someone else...... Nope. On the trail of life there are a lot of possibile routes. We only have control over a few of them. I was thrown a bit of a curve ball and had to make some changes.
After a long and rewarding career as a Game Warden I decided to call it quits last year. My first goal was to assure myself that I was going to stay active. So, I bought myself a fancy bicycle and rode it every morning, just after sunrise. All was good for a couple months until I met a car who had decided he needed my lane too to stay on the road. Ouch.
Accidents happen, but his decision to keep going and not render aid was no accident .
Cut to the reason for the long intro with no pics:
I'm slowly healing with a couple stubborn problems. I have nerve damage in my left hand, and no strength. Result- I can't pull a clutch in- and with the broken shoulder, I really have no business on a modern dirkbike anymore.
Quit riding? No effing way. But I have to face the fact that things have changed for me.
So I just scored a '68 Honda CT 90 with a lot of potential. No clutch to pull in, and with suspension I used to laugh at, I'll be riding a bit slower.
But I'll be riding

I just realized something: I have no idea how to get these pics to my photo hosting site from my phone. Last time I did this I was using a camera.

Default Sorry-

The CT 90 is about done and I haven't posted anything. I started watching this forum and I was a bit disappointed at what I saw. It seems like this forum has gone the way of a couple others I used to be a part of. It died.
Sharing my experiences is only a good use of my time if there seems to be someone that is interested and may benefit from my efforts. I just checked my Rokon Trailbreaker build (vintage riding forum) thread and saw that it now has over 88,000 views. But I also know that a couple other forums have active links to this ATM thread and the activity is coming from those other forums.
I apologize to anyone who might have been anticipating another of my builds.

What in the heck happened?

Facebook happened. Hardly anyone uses the forums anymore; it's not just this site, it's pretty much all of them. It's a bummer because there used to be a lot of great posts about builds, mods, fixes etc and all the info/knowledge is just slowly drying up.

Yeah, I think most people shift to Facebook groups since it is more accessible through apps than web browser.
