 Suzuki DRZ400S gas tank. I am wondering if any one has tried to use a DRZ 400E plastic tank on the DRZ 400S model and if it would work? By the way my bike is a 2002 DRZ 400S street and trail they come with the steel tank. I know that the dirt models come with a plastic tank and they use a rubber strap to hold them down at where the bottom of the tank meets the seat. Is there any thing else that is different and did anyone every try it and if so what modifications will I have to make? Thanks:Coss  |

 Re: Suzuki DRZ400S gas tank. Should be the same tank mounting system. The steel tank is meeting a federal requirement for motorcycle tanks. Same frame and all. Find an online parts fische and compare the mounting systems to each other. Or if you have the time go by a Suzuki shop and compare the tanks yourself. Bill   |
