Default Gas coming out of overflow??

The overflow on my DRZ is just pouring gas out of it. I tried tapping on it, i took the carb apart twice and cleaned it really good, and after riding for 2+ hours it's still coming out, not slowing at all. I tried messing with the float, it moves up and down fine when not on the bike, the pin isn't bent or anything. I don't know what else to try. What's making it do that?Does it need a new float or something, or is it a simple fix?
Thanks guys.
(It's a mikuni carb, if that matters)

i guess i would drain the gas and take the carb off and shake it up and down to make sure the float could move freely, if that checked out okay i would take the float bowl off and check the inlet needle thing that stops and starts the flow of gas into the carb and make sure it is seating properly.

Either adjust the float to the correct height. Or the needle and seat are worn out would be my guess

Or missing completely...

I'm guessing that would be the problem...

Well I ordered a rebuild kit, figured I might as well rebuild it instead of just ordering the needle/seat assembly thing. Should be here by the weekend, hopefully I'll make it to the track again this weekend.

Your float needle is not seating properly....you did the right thing in ordering a rebuild kit. Once installed it will be like new.

Actually the float needle is missing.

Just got the rebuild kit in today.I'm gonna rebuild it tomorrow and see how it goes. Also went up to the next size main jet, I heard they come a little lean from the factory.
