| hey guys have a rmx 250 just been rebuilt goes well, been to bike shop drz400E on sale with rec reg for $7400 ride away (aus dollars) not sure what to do , what do the drzs go like and if a pipe is put on them |

| I have rode a couple DRZ 400s one electric start with a pipe and one kicker without a pipe. Power delivery is OK without a pipe but not the kick your 250 has. The electric start with a pipe was much better for power but it had to weigh 260+.... WHAT A PIG!!!! tuff to through around. |

| thanks fo the input, hard decision the drzs on special pretty cheap in aus at the moment, you know the rmx 250 was a good thing when ten years on people still ask for them in a shop |

| DRZ's are on the heavy side, but make bulletproof trail bikes. I have 9000 off road miles on my '06 with zero problems and minimal maintenance. I have modded it a bit, but nothing crazy, mostly armor, jetting, pipe, etc. |
