Default GMB VII Video. Sunday Morning.

This vid may be boring to anyone who wasn't there. Personally, I enjoy watching everyone show up. I also enjoy watching the day unfold as we head for the rider's meeting. The camaraderie is hard to capture but it permeates the entire event. I have 170MB of vid so I will post more later. Listen to the words in this one. We really aren't that different at all. Good people come to this event. I see egos get in the way now and then but for the most part, we're all here for the same reasons.
Sunday Morning.

Default thanks

That was really amazing, i really wish i could of been there to support. I cant imagine going through something like that. I am sure garrett is looking down proud and waiting for the day your family can be together again. Thanks again for this site I consider it a real privilege to be a member here.

Dave,

I am totally blown away by this and I have something kind of unique to share with you all.

You may not know it but that song "You'll Be in My Heart" - the first time I heard it was at Garrett's funeral service, the day we buried him. It was the Thursday, before I wrote the "Letter." Someone who shall remain anonymous felt that it was appropriate decided to play it. It "sort of came out of no where" I was asked if I would like to eulogize my son before the song, and I replied "ah go ahead and play the song and then I will talk."

They played the song and I cried uncontrollably - sobbing. I then had to stand and talk to hundreds of people after hearing that song for the first time. Man was that tough. Some how I got through it. I do not remember much about what I said. I was running on emotional adrenalin strength. I do know I talked about G_d and addressed young people who attended from Friendswood High School.

Jedi - I am not sure if you knew this, but very appropriate song. I still cry - but man do I love that song. It rings of much "richness" in my humble opinion.

Thank for capturing the moments and I appreciate your friendship.

Sincerely,
Mike Berg

Wow. I didn't know that story Mr. Berg. I just heard a couple of GMB's ago that you sorta like the song. Thanks for filling us in.
That appreciation goes both ways, my friend.

Hahahaha, for some reason I'm not sure the 'where am I', 'what's going on' thing is an acute problem!!!
