I can't speak for him, but as long as you know what you want changed about them, he should be able to. The valving is very similar to a bikes shock, it's just a matter of doing it and testing it. Yes, it's do-able, but might be some what difficult because they are used differently.

If the TRX fronts are the ones with piggyback reservoirs, then I can rebuild them. I don't test with 4 wheelers so I don't already have a valve stack that I know works, but I can make adjustments. So like Woody said, you would have to tell me what you wanted. Say if you told me they were too soft in braking bumps, I could add a little mid-speed compression damping, etc.

And I can rebuild that TRX400 rear, its very similar to a motocross bike shock.

As for the anodizing, I don't know all of the colors off the top of my head. I use a local anodizing shop and I know they do gold, silver, black and blue. But i'm not sure of the others. If you want any other color let me know and I can ask them.

The coatings last awhile... on the outside anyway. Couple years at least.

Can you do a '97 RM shock and conventional forks for off road riding? I want it plusher for rocks and roots.

prices are still good and I can do those conventional RM forks and shock. How does it compare to RG3? Don't know, haven't used their stuff. I can tell you that if you're not happy with the way the bike handles, call me. I'll personally talk you through clicker settings, geometry adjustments etc... and if its still not dialed in, send it back and I'll re-work it for no charge.
