Who has a 2008 Kawi

I am thinking of getting a 08 kawi but never rode one yet. I hear the 07 doesnt corner very well, did they improve the handling in the 08 model? how much better is the bike over all compared to 07

I got my son a 2008 250f two weeks ago and it rocks. His last bike was a highly modified 03 rm125. Last season this rm would pull 250f on starts and on long uphills. His new bike is way more powerful! As fast as the rm on a start and more power every where. His bike handles very well in the turns and just about every where. He did complain about the front end pushing in sand but we think that the stock bridgestones are the culprit,we are putting dunlop 756 tires on this weekend and I'll post the results. I firmly believe you can't go wrong with the kawasaki and depending where you live it's cheaper!

Hey thanks for the heads up on the Kawi. Did you ever get a chance to swap tires and did it fix the issue

Yes we did swap tires and its much better now we call his 250f a cadillac because the suspension is really plush but has great bottoming resistance. We are racing a new left over KX250 also because of the AMA rule change but you just can't go wrong with the KXF 250 when it comes to a four stroke.

We have a few such bikes in our shed at home, what would you like to know? Let's see they corner well, turn on a dime, go like hell, easy to win a holeshot on one of these babies! And don't brake down, haven't had even the slightest problem with one. "they rock"
