looky here kx450f to jet or not to jet! Thats the question?

First off i am new to this list, so HI to all of you. Next up is the question, I have a 2006 KX450F and i am wondering if anyone has done any rejetting or made air/feul mixture adjustments? The bike and pipe are all stock, the reason for the question is i am currently in MA. but will be moving to FL. in about a month. Also, has anyone needed to rebuild theirs yet? Aside from pro riders that is. Thanks in advance for any help.

I live in the North West and have the same bike. I actually never ran my stock pipe because I needed a spark arrestor. SO I bought the FMF 4.1 slip on with the removeable spark arrestor. On my first ride, my bike ran marginally OK. It wanted to die all the time and it stumbled everywhere. Lag on the throttle and everything annoying. So...I turned towards the "FIX ALL" of carburator troubles and I bought a JD Jetting Kit. JD stands for James Dean. It comes with instructions for installation, a guidline for temps and which jets to use. It is virtually idiot proof. It's ALSO the best $70 I ever spent for performance upgrades. Check it out , you won't regret it at all!
