Default Kx250 engine oil

     

about to do my 1st oil change, cant find anywhere that says what oil to use? also any1 know what filter ?
no trolls please

The owners manual should have that info in it.
Look oil threads always bring a lot of mis-information to thread and a lot of good , bad and incorrect info will be included. I will not get involved in that.
So, what ever oil you use, be sure it is "wet clutch" approved. Understand almost no auto oils are rated for that and most will help you burn up your clutch quickly due to friction inhibitors added to them.
The oil should have a round seal on it with the rating on the top part of the seal and the bottom part of seal should be blank. If anything is in that bottom part of the seal, it will not work for you.
Contact your local dealer and see what he suggest.
