Default 08 kawasaki 250f carby mod

I just installed a JD jetting kit into the new 250f and this is what changed. The pilot went from a 40 to 42 the main from a 182 to 190 and a different needle with the clip 5 from the top. the air mixture screw 1and 3/4 turns out. Now the other little trick was to hook a rubber o ring over the accelerator pump screw adjuster and the other part that makes contact with it, (like a set of points) to make it put a little more pressure back on the pump for a quicker throttle opening.
Did it all work?

"YOU BET IT DID" it's as crisp as you would ever get it and the power delivery is awesome! Don't hesitate in getting one they are well worth it.
PS: this adjustment may not suit all areas different jetting for higher above sea levels, but it tells you all in the kit. Also this will work on 06-07 as well.

Just a follow up on these jetting spec's. We had to adjust them some, as we did a full day of testing yesterday. We have ended up with a 42 pilot, 185 main and we have put the stock needle back in a nhjt 4th clip from the top.
With the jd needle we were getting a flat spot bog especially after landing a jump . Changing the clip position didn't help. The hard wiring of the accelerator pump screw seems to work just fine and allows a very smooth and quick throttle response. I think we will try the 190 main jet on heavy sandy tracks. Anyway it seems to be running as good as we can get it at this stage.
