XR 75 Tune Up specs

Default XR 75 Tune Up specs

I need to know the point gap and valve adjustment specs for a 1975 XR 75. Does anybody know? Thanks

That brings back some memories. We thought that baby was THE bike. They did run forever.

I found the tune up specs. Tappet clearance is 0.05mm (0.002in.)
Point Gap is 0.03-0.04mm (0.012-0.016in). Make sure to line up the T mark on the rotor with the index mark on the case to find TDC for the valve/tappet adjustment. And for the point gap make sure you line up the F mark on the rotor with the index mark. The index mark is about at 2 o'clock when you take the sidecover off. The spark plug gap is 0.6-0.7mm (0.024-0.028in).Hope this helps any of you XR 75 folks

I used to have a 1978 XR75. I couldn't kill it! They were very reliable!
