Not difficult at all...esp since a mechanical putz like me can do it. Just get your manual out, the correct tools, order all the parts and clean up a work area. This video is a big help also. Good luck and take pics along the way. And as always, dont hesitate to ask questions.
A couple things to keep in mind
-once the cylinder is removed, stuff a rag down in the case so nothing falls into it. Watch out for those pesky circlips, also! -the rings go on a certain way so be aware of that.
-this would be a great time to check out your reeds-they should lay perfectly flat with no daylight showing.

My sister rode a 93 yz80 to get her started on tracks and from what I remember they dont even have a powervalve so there isnt much in the top end but the jug,piston,piston pin,and some gaskets then the head.O and a little bearing the goes on the pin.Make sure you clean everything real good,I like to use carb cleaner or starting fluid.
