GMB VI the people

Well another GMB event passes and we all go back to our lifes in many different states. I look so forward to coming to this event because it brings me back to being better and to focus on my family. I got to meet some new faces and searched out the ole faces. Flash does look like Flash Gorden! Not to forget OLDMXRACER(Bad Andy) does not look near 50 something. Mike Berg seems to have worn out his hip from kicking us in the arsh so many times over the years! MX MAMA is just a fireball.......no more like a rat on acid...........zing.... pow...boom.................peeeeeyaaaaaaaaw all over everywhere! Her daughter, I suspect will be just like her....I shall pray for her husband.The boys of hers where just outstanding...the cajuns she brought with her where very nice and I liked talking with them...seems they don't have but 18 letters in the ABC'S. I truely enjoy listening to them talk........I was hanging on the next word.......not to mention that one could really ride a bike! Those were the new folks I met. But I'm sure I forgot the most important one...............Oh I seen Sara but decided not to speak with her.............she is a young girl and does not need her heart broken so soon...................
I got me some hugs from my ole friends at Mikes' house. Easy E and I beat the snot out of Boyd playing horse(basketball). I'm no longer afraid of Moose the dog............he had more gray than the dude from Rider down!!!!!I didn't talk to alot of folks but I did watch and listen at the Bergs. One thing that tickled me was I asked Mrs Berg where is the trashcan cause I needed to throw away my coke can..........she told me they recycle...........I said, SO I'm not into that! She actually kicked me in the BUTT!LOL. That alone made the trip worth it.
Well saturday morning came to the sounds of thunderstorms..............I was still at the track by 7:30 am. I must tell the truth...............I have never seen a track look that bad. My heart was broken and my spirits shaken.I left and went back to the hotel. Boyd called and said Mike wanted everyone to meet at the track, just to bs. So back to the track I went............................Jedi and son were riding their bikes in the sand trails. Lawpuppy, Boyd and Prag working the track with shovels!!!!! I spent the day chatting my close friend Jaybird(Jason Peirce)...Special times! Seems me and Jaybird are alot alike. I do think if I lived there he would be best friend.We got out our bikes and got arm pump riding no more than 100 yards. Neither of us had rode in months. The cali crew was unloaded and puddle jumping also. Then the two biggest fools of the day put on a show for me..us whoever....Char and Tracey rode the same line over and over and over and over busting the same puddle.Seems like the sister hood of fried eggs is growing. I wantedto ride with them..........but knew better! So every one left to go to Big M's house. I went back to my hotel to wait on my bride and girls. Sorry I missed Big M's house but ya'll come in second when it comes to my girls....Like a old man I worried until I seen them in the parking lot! Freaking stupid girls got my heart...and they know it!!!!!!!
Sunday rolled around and off to the track! Boyd was to ride my brand spanking never rode been in the dirt no marks on the bike #121 honda. I rode my yellow bird. Sorry guys but after the 1st practice I knew my day was over as for riding. I won't say why, but it was basiclly just cause trouble time for me now(to cause it,lol). I did enjoy sitting in the pits visiting more than any other event I went too. I got to see the change in people from races pass. The little things I speak of that I notice and watch......I must say Lawdoggie impressed me more this year than all the others combined! I'm not in no way speaking of his mx skills....The cool thing is he wasn't trying to impress me either! I suspect those boys of his is changing the man! I could write for days on the people who make up the GMB events, but everyone of you are special folks who stick out your hand in times of need. If you was at the GMB VI your one of the special people IMO. I feel very blessed to have seen ya'll, hugged ya'll and got to know ya'll.

Its Easy E's fault I did that...............He double dared me! My gate was already down,I told E when the guy points at me I'm gone........E said, no you won't! But I would just like to thank spy goggles, monster drinks and my 2 year old dunlops for pulling the holeshot! I quit after the 1st 9 turns cause I had no comp!

Doc, Just wanted to made him smile alittle during his pain. I know there was 100 other people who would step up at anytime. Its the group thing that brings it together.
