O.K. That explains alot. Now I understand why the second moto finished the way it did.

By looking at that PIT on that side of the track I'm very glad you didn't get hurt. It could have been much, much worse.

First, I am darn glad he was not hurt. Catching those pics was pretty cool. I remember riding there with Garrett one time and he made a decision to shoot off the table-top to the left rather than hit a kid - his bike sunk in the mud/sand to the middle of the tires. Let me tell you it was a rough getting that bike out.

I don't care what they say Ernie, "Your still a Stud-Muffin!"

Desert guys can't ride motocross very well, they need long strait a ways and hills with some boulders through in there. Oh yeah and the race needs to at lest last 1hr or so. It take a few miles to just get warmed up......

Ernie is the one who gave up desert for mx and I have to say, first, I am glad he came out ok but I am still in shock at seeing him on the ground. I know Dane has learned alot about riding the track from him. After the entire summer of racing mx just about every weekend, I can say I never once saw him on the ground. I'm still in shock.

I don't care who you are, how good you are, or how experianced you are, in this sport you WILL end up on the ground.

I watched both of them...........the 1st one you flew like a rag doll for about 89.5 yards on the ground. I thought that one you was hurt.............but like the stud you are you got up and walked back 89.5 yards to your bike..........it was still running too!The 2nd one did not look like you..........kinda like you was still dazed.

I didn't even know about that crash, E! Sure am glad it turned out to be minor.
Those pics right there are the exact reason I chose to take it easy on Garrett's 393. Had I been on my own bike, YOU BET I would have pushed it hard! But track conditions were not so forgiving as I have seen them in the past. I saw LOTS of near crashes and a few get-offs. But I think everyone did a GREAT job of riding withing their limits.
BTW, Ernie. I crashed coming off that same table last year. Macho told me, "I thought you was hurt but you bounced up like a kangaroo". Little did he know, I was just worried about getting landed on. It hurt pretty bad. Just not bad enough to lay there and get hurt worse.

i'll have to post my full series of the crash although Robbie's pics show it better. I couldn't believe he went down the first time, much less looking up just in time to see him crash around the next corner! From the looks of Robbie's picture, it looks like he was trying to avoid hitting Dane.
