I could never feel good about that. I'd have to start with anyone with over 1000 posts

Naw, that was never and will never be the intent of ATM.

I figured that might be the place you were looking given the popularity of the KSL classifieds here.. Just pick out a few that you're interested in and go in with cash offers.. I did notice that the later models aren't to far off of the price of the 4 strokes. But what people ask and what they get are 2 different things.

The guy I bought mine for wanted $2k and I got him down to $1700 which in hindsight wasn't a great deal, but not shabby. I kind of rushed into it like I always tend to do.

Woody,
You might also try E-BAY... I have been looking in there at bikes and there has been ALOT of them... E-BAY also seems to be a little more secure.
I haven't ridden a YZ since '85 so idon't have any input on how good they are but, all the people I know that have one love them. Good all around bike!!!
I ride RM 250 and really have been pretty happy w/it but had to do alot of work to get it competetive.

Just something about a RM250 that makes me smile.

I'm sure you'll find something in your price range. My buddy sold his race ready 99 KX 250 for $1500 last year. The motor work on the thing alone was worth that.

Yeah, that's try khen -- list and pay price don't typically end up being the same thing.

Wow, okay, so how do I contact these guys? I've never used the craigs list before. Just call the number? They are a little older so I'd rather just email them.

Yep, just click on the reply to: linky or copy it and paste it in the to: field. Craigslist is very popular on the west coast and other major cities throughout the US. You can search for bikes in all of Utah as well. I just looked in the SLC area. I would just shoot them an email to see what the bike really is, not what they put in the posting.

good luck.

In the past, I've just emailed through the link provided on craigslist. BTW, it's been my experience that items listed on craigslist don't sell right away. Most things I've checked on have been there for a few weeks or more. We actually got Anna's ttr and her kx off of craigslist.

Craigs list isn't that big here. I hope you can find something bro., I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Khen, let me know when you go to Tooele and Woody_393, you can come too because you know I need help on my suspension. It's still on the stock settings. I might even let you ride it.

No luck yet.. however, it's not that I haven't found the bike, I just haven't found the $$.

The big BOSS said NO. I have 3 things I have to do before I can do anything that involves buying a bike. I need to get them done so I can get one soon, as I'm dying.

Tomorrow evening should be fine. Let me know for sure if you will be there though, because I'm not going to head over there if you're not there
