| my friend got an 07 last year as his first bike. Man that was the worst choice he ever made... anyways he wont let anyone ride it and his opinoins dont count because hes never ridden any other bike and has only ridden in his yard. (no jumps) i want him to sell it so he ca get a smaller cc bike but he insists on keeping it. |

| an 07 what,Husky?Tell him that he doesnt deserve to have it because he doesnt have the skill to ride it to its potential and is an idiot poser for buying it and that he must sell it to you immediately at a low cost and save himself the embaresment. |

| Th yamaha is a great bike too, they dont turn as well as the rest and arent as fast as the others but they are a real solid machine.Very reliable and easy to work on and maintain, the price is right and if its almost new like you said get it.If I had the money I would get it for a backup bike. |

| For what it's worth a few good junior riders i know jumped on Husky's this year and did very well, one got 2nd in the Aussie titles on a 125 2 stroke and the other kid got a 3rd on the 250f. So they can match it with any other brand, but the price of them scares me off |

| one downside to buying a more "unique " bike like Husky or even KTM in some areas is that if/when you decide to switch to a japanese bike most of the dealers here hate taking huskys and KTM's on trade so they are harder to get rid of. no offense. My dealer here sell all 4 japanese brands bikes, quads, atvs, utv's and even polaris and arctic cat and even triumph in the street bike line but seem to have a hard time moving the smaller market dirt bikes. So if you have a dealer like in our neighboring cities that carries both KTM and a japanese brand or 2 you may want to try that if it comes up at some point. I know for a fact our dealer has turned down friends of mine on trade because he cant seem to move them. That or they seriously low ball them. I've not had that problem on my yami's or hondas. |

| Thought this bike was for you?For the C class, any 250f would suit you good.Because you are still in what I consider a learning class I think you should get a 125 and ride the cahunas out of it.If you can learn how to find that extra speed on a mx track with a 125 and beat 250f's,then when you do step it up you will be riding with all this newfound power and feel like youve just strapped yourself to a rocket, wait until your in the B class for a 250f and keep the little smoker for practice. The 250f at this stage in mx will give you a lazy riding style, the 125 will make you a better rider and prepare you for the upperclasses. |

| The only issue I see about the Huskys are the parts nightmare. Lots of guys in the dez waiting weeks on end for OEM stuff and apparently is downright pricey. The (05) 450's have a "magical carb" that you can't get jets for....no joke! Heard some people even going to the extent of buying new carbs to eliminate the jetting problems. On the other side of the coin, everyone I have talked to have had very few problems with them and reliability is NOT an issue. Also, since all of the big 4 dropped their off-road contingency programs Husky has stepped up and offered huge paybacks. This is a plus for racers in need of some support. As far as the KTM's being hard to get rid of...I called a dozen or more dealers on the 08 200,250 and 300's....nothing. I finally found a leftover 07 250 and ended up getting it. -Kevin- |

| I think it all depends on where you are, here in FL at the local ktm dealer they have 3 leftover 2008 motocross models.A 250sx-f,125sx,250sx.Many 08 off road models including the 250xcf.Theyl be gone soon though because tax time is comin and they will all have new homes |

As far as parts being pricey..... anything I have got so far has been the same or subtantially cheaper than the same item as the big four bikes. |

I almost bought a 250 2t but chickened out, fearing the parts dealers were so far away. Then I found out they have a dealer 10 miles away...go figure. There's an expert out in D37 that is overalling some of the bigger races on Husky 125 2 stroke.... -Kevin- |

| I think it has something to do with the steering head angle, and the length of the bike.here is what you are looking to buy: ![]() Here is the 2007: ![]() The 2005 just doesnt turn like the 2006 ad up,there is so much different on them that im sure its a combo of many little things that make the newer bike turn better Ill look for the demensions, but the demensions all look the same, the front end seemes to be tucked in a little more on the 2007.
