which is faster

i want to know which is faster a 125 or a 250 like could a 125 beat a 250 on a track because i cant decide if i want a 125 or 250 ive heard good and bad things about both im about 5'7'' and 160 lbs so please help

Like YZernie said, any given bike can win on any given day. It really depends on your riding style, don't look for the fastest....look for what you'll be fastest on.

Some of the most fun I have ever had on a dirt bike was on a YZ125. Depending on the track I was not always competitive but none-the-less, I always had fun riding that bike. The next most fun bike for me was a YZ250 2 stroke. I had the suspension dialed and was pretty competitive on that bad boy but on tracks like Glen Helen that have long fast straights I was not as good as the 450s. The list goes on and on but like kschilk said, it is all about what YOU have the most fun on.
