I started riding dirtbikes about a year ago and started out with a CR250 which was to bigg for me so I sold it to my friend then I got a Crf150 and been riding that for almost a year and a few people told me I am to big for the bike I am 5'10" about 150 lbs so if you think this bike is a little to small for me, what bike should I move up to?

shouldve kept the 250. You couldve always toned it down a bit.

Im 5-7 on a good day. I just shaved the seat, set the sag and I was good to go. I think youd be fine on a 250 sized bike. Power vs ability you may think about a 125 or 250f but like I said, there are ways of taming the 250 2 stroke.

I agree, you need a bigger bike. Im 5'3 and 1/2 and I ride a 250f. I was really worried about touching the ground too. So I shaved my seat. Meaning cutting out some of the foam to lower the hight. Sag is how your suspension is set for your weight. (i think [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Last edited by mxmama393; 09-10-2008 at 03:56 PM.

At 5'10", a 250 2stk or 4stk is about the right size for you, The CRF150 is more like a minicycle. I'm 5'11" and don't have a problem touching the ground, but I'm about 60 lbs. more than you. Maybe the suspension was too stiff, that makes a huge difference.

Thanks for the help, I will try to find a 250, The suspension may have be to stiff didn't think of that, but I sold the 250 i had to my friend and he is 220 and he can touch the ground with it.

The 250f is what I would recommend for your current stature. There is also a lowering kit that you can install that also gives you a lower seat height. Only problem is you would be sacrificing ride height for suspension travel.

125 two stroke is the best bike to learn on and will keep you on your toes, they are also cheap and easy to maintain.Perfect for your size and weight. It will make you a better rider,I still have mine to help me get faster and practice on it.I swear by the little noise makers THE BEST suspension guide!helped me alot
