Go to ebay and type in Yamaha Yz 125 in the search bar, and you should get tons of results.

It is here in Florida, but this would be a very good starter full size bike.

You will definitely want a 125 two stroke. I am pretty much the exact same size as you and I own a cr 125. It fits me great and I won't be growing out of the power for a long time. I hadn't had a whole lot of experience before I bought it, but it is a pretty good starter bike if you take it easy until you get used to the powerband. I picked up the bike in running condition and decent plastic for $900 and I probably could have gotten him to come down lower. Just wait for the right bike and it will come to you BTW Craigslist is a great site.

Might want to keep an eye on this forum:

Not sure where you're located in Texas, but there are usually some pretty decent deals on there. Not to mention, it's a fairly active board so there are always new listings.

Here's a kdx in Austin...

BTW, the kdx200 is a great bike. Perfect to start on, IMO. Suspension is a bit soft for big jumps, but it'd certainly get you comfortable with a clutch as well as the two stroke feel.
