Not counting stuff that has broken, the only things that have wore out is the stock chain and sprockets (Junk) and the stock bars, the bars really didn't wear out, they didn't even stay on the bike for more then 15 min. once I got it home. Other then that the bike has been pretty good to me, but keep in mind I haven't got to ride it for the last 6 months either.

Here is a guy who gives a less detailed analysis than you did, but he does so from the perspective of owning the 04 YZF450 and just purchasing the 05 CRF450. Anyway, here it is.
LOL, that's not a review... : Well, I guess it is.

I agree with what someone else said... Where are all the reviews.

I've read about 15 - got it, it's awesome. See ya later... : what's up with that?

I agree with you Woody on the bars, my last 2 bikes had Pro-Tapers and they are much more forgiving than conventional bars. And the normal reviews "I got it and it's awesome" are the typical I just spent $6000 it 's the best thing I've ever straddled mindsets. Thanks for the avatar, Woody! You're the man, you even make me look good on the bike.

DCox, its kind of hard to explain. The difference could be in the pipe that is on my new bike compared to the old one. I put a White Brothers Carbon Pro on the new bike and my old one has a full FMF Ti-4 on it. But the new bike pulls harder and longer, yet it is smoother. I have ridden both of them down a dirtroad many times, and on my new bike, i CAN'T hold the front tire down in third gear. And third gear is tall on the four speed. Its really amazing.

DrCox I too fall in the 5'7" range. I love my 05 450f. By far the best built bike I've rode.

Awesome write-up Woody! So does this mean later in '05 you might be changing your name to Woody_YZF?
