wuddup everyone, my name is Troy. i am 17 years old and live in adeghetto oops i mean adelanto california. i have been riding off and on since i was 11 years old. my first bike was a 1978 xr 75 that i had for 3 years. i have had a few bikes go through my hands but they weren't in the best shape when i had gotten them. i had a 1980 Yamaha XT250 that had a bent exhaust valve but didn't know it at the time cause i wasn't as smart at dirtbikes then as i am now. so about 4 monthes after having it the valve had given way and snapped and the piston had shot it into the top of the head thus my dad said it was totaled (which was a lie i had realized a year later) so we got rid of it. then i had traded my xr75 for a 74
yami DT400b enduro that whuped a mass amount of ***!
hahhahha but once again i had a small problem with it and my dad said there was no way to fix it, all i needed to do was get new electric points box and it was ready to go. but he had taken it to the scrap yard and got 5 bucks for it, which had really made me mad cause that bike was worth alot more than that even though it was in the condition it was in. then i got my 1983 Honda CR250R for $250 but it had a few problems. i had bought it without any part of the rear break system, someone had painted the plastics with house paint, did a crappy spray paint job on the frame. but other than that the bike ran strong and was loud as hell! hahaha i loved screamin down the street on it and annoy my tweakheaded neighbors back on their very own bike that they had sold me for a deal! and it was not stolen cause i had went down and got it registered. but tragedy struck 4 miles away from home one day as the crank barring seized and the engine froze. i was stuck with 2 decisions, dump the bike in the bushes and walk 4 miles home or push the bike to my friends house 2 miles away and have his mom give me a ride home. so i chose to push it to my friends house and his mom too me and my bike home. i had sold the bike because my dad said once again that it was in no condition to be rebuilt and once again was wrong and i knew it when i said ok fine sell it. i regret those words to this day!
about a year after i got rid of my 250 i had started a project that i knew wouldn't be alive for a long period of time cause it had head problems. but i had taken a 1987
kawi nina ex 500 streetbike and made it into a offroad atc. man i loved that thing but with the head problems and the other engine problems it had it didn't last to long. so it sits in my backyard right now awaiting a new heart that was even stronger than its last one.
well thanks for your eyes and i hope what i had wrote was interesting to read i know it was alot but i didn't realize it untill i started writing about my 250 lol. well have a good one people and ride like hell!
