Default Northern Newbie

I am new to the forum and new to the sport.
I got into motocross at the beginning of this season 03/09.
We bought our 7 year old son an XR50 and I couldn't just watch him ride I had to get one myself. So at age 39 I bought my 1st bike. I found a nicely looked after 2001 YZ250F. As far as I can tell it's awesome. We spent a lot of time riding different areas this summer and had tonnes of fun. He likes the track I like the trails. We both like working on the bikes. I am always doing something mechanical on a car or bike it seems, he too now seems to enjoy it. My wife and 5 year old now both want bikes so it looks like the garage will be full. I am looking forward to the day we all go riding.

Mike

That's awesome that you are enjoying riding with (or will be) the entire family. Dirt bikes really are a blast.

It's not a stupid question at all.
