Just wanted to say hey, new member. Just got back into dirt riding. Road raced for a few years. My son started riding, so I needed to get a bike to ride with him.

I have a good friend who brings his daughter riding, she rides her brothers bike now, and he rides a four wheeler. He took a nasty spill in some whoops and hasn't been back on it since. My daughter can't make her up mind between a horse or a 4 wheeler. I told her that a four wheeler is like riding several horses at once!

My daughter endo'd her first bike the first day she had it!! I thought oh great her first ride, and she's either going to have something broken, or just be too scared to ride any more. No problem, got right back on and hasn't stopped since!! She's really funny though, while we're riding she won't even rub a bruise or scrap, but when we get home she has to break out the bandaids, and the ice packs!!

Sounds like my daughter with horses, kids are funny! My son does the same thing only he'll do the oppsite. He will be too sick or hurt to do something until it's time to ride!!

Hey there Zee....
Welcome to ATM.
Lots of folks here just like you who ride with their kids, even some with grandkids. You will like it here, honest injun.
You might think to guide your daughter to a 4 wheeler....because it's way cheaper than a horse.
Who is your favorite Pro road racer?

...PS, most all of us are picture freaks.

I checked this site out for about a week before joining, it seems very family orientated. I am trying to steer my daughter in the four wheeler direction, cause like you said it's WAY cheaper!!

My favorite road racer is Casey Stoner, I'm a huge Duc fan, even though I will never be able to afford one!! I enjoy Moto Gp racing still, even if its not what it used to be!!

My son likes to ride more but my daughters the better rider. At least until my son grow up more. lol I love riding wiht my kids too. I just wish I had a bike that can go slow speed like an XR100 when I'm riding with them. My CR can idle faster than they can ride. lol
