Default Michigan In The Building!!!

Well hello!

I just starting riding again after twenty years. (My son got a four wheeler and it was a great excuse to get wifey to let me buy a bike) ((yz125)) Oh yeah baby!

Either way, I was just saying hi and wanted to pick a forum the could help me surround myself with other people who are interested in the same things as us.

Anyone from Michigan: I would love to hear about great riding areas in our great lake state.

Imagine that, another michigander on ATM!!

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] shows most of the tracks in michigan. Once I get my bike fixed, I plan on heading out to #22 on that map, the Holly family track in Holly, Mi. It's about 45 minutes from where I'm at, and the closest one that I know of.

Depending on where you guys are at, maybe we could meet up for a ride somewhere?

And I just spoke with the owner of the Holly track. He said that currently their small track is open due to water issues from the massive rain we had, but within a week or so he should have everything open again.

Whew, other side of the state for me, around a 3 hour drive. It'll be tough, but I'll try to make it out some time.

Yeah your a ways away. We could arrange something somewhere in the middle though, that way only a hour and a half each, not so bad that way.

Yeah that would work, if we could find something in the middle. I'm still trying to find some good places to ride, so I'm not too familiar with whats around.

I would have to do some checking, don't get that way much myself.

How far are you from the Flint area? Baja is a pretty cool track, I know it's closer to you then me, but I would like to get up there again, its been years!

Welcome to Baja MX!

Baja is about an hour and a half from me, that'd be perfect. I've never been there (Or any track, actually!), but it looks awesome from their pictures.
