Default CR rider from Northern CA

Hi,

I have a 91 cr 250 and a 04 cr 250.

Just got an SST pipe and JD Jetting Kit for the 04. Can't wait to take it back out to Stonyford.

I've not owned a 2 stroke, but the JD kit on my 450 was awesome! You'll have to let us know what you think of it on the 2-stroke.

if you go back to stonyford, give me a holler, I am from chico and go out there with some regularity. if you like hill climbs you should try out Carnegie, its only prob an 45 min from you.

It'll probably be 3 weeks before I can ride Stony again, cause I will be traveling. I intend to check out Carnegie soon, but was waiting till after Oct15th when the dudes at the gate stop turning me away for having a red sticker. I love the idea of a half day riding trip, it is a lot easier to convince my wife.

I'll let you all know how the bike rides with the new pipe and jetting, but I have a strange feeling its gonna be faster!

What I found with the JD Jetting was everything was more crisp, and yes, I felt like it had more power.

haha I hear that one, then you gotta take your 91 cr 250 out there!!

as for the Wife situation, I am very blessed. I have many friends who also have girlfriends who ride. I bought her a quad, and now she loves going out with us. her only complaint about my riding habit is that I don't take her enough. ( thats where it starts huh?? haha) but that makes going for a weekend really nice, execpt for the fact I now need a bigger trailer!

on the Half day deal I know what you mean, I used to live in marin county and everything was really far!! but now that I am in chico, some of the best riding in nor cal is 20 minutes from my door. I go riding after work all of the time! its great!

nice to meet a Nor-cal guy on here, dont think there are too many around here.

if you are interested in racing there is tons up here. just ask me and ill point you in the right direction

I wouldnt be able to do stonyford for at least three weeks myself, so no sweat. but if you are headed out there let me know and ill see what I can do.

I will let you know when I get something planned. I am trying to get a buddy with a 5th wheel to trek up and check the place out. I keep telling people how good Stony is, but I know that they need to ride it themselves to be as sold on it as I am.
