Default another michigan new guy

hello everyone, I just started racing this past summer on a crf250 at age 37. My son also started this year at age 10 on a kx 65. we both did well for our first year racing. there are a few trophys for each of us sitting around the house and niether of us broke any bones, so a great first year for both of us.

Welcome to This is a great place to hang out and talk to others who enjoy anything moto especially dirt bikes and quads, I also do the Harley thing, but thats another forum. Post often and don't be afraid to get in the middle of things. Were all friends.

BTW Congrats on the first year of racing success.

Mike

dude all metals rust...............even stainless.....even the exotics rust:ie tungsten, silicon, inkanal(sp)stainless. They are an alloy. Some just resist rusting longer but it all depends on the enviroment in which the metal is at....The two main destrutive forces..........of metal........air and water.......better known as oxidation................look up metallurgy. Basiclly over time Jimbo Bigfoot the said metals will loose molecules and reduce its ability to resist rust....... oxidation. So my big friend..............please try keep either air or water off your after market parts. One is fine......... both is bad........over time
