Just moved from the KB, to the KTM forum. You should get some hits now on this.

It sounds an awful lot like it's just jetted too rich. Do the normal checks: how many turns out on your fuel screw, what size pilot jet does it have in it?

I haven't seen him since January so I don't know if it's fixed!! I'll see him this weekend, because I'm going to ride in his confederacy so I'll ask!!!

Hey Frakke, will you define "confederacy" as it is used in the MX context in Belgium? What I mean is, what actual term is used (I presume not English), and what meaning does it have in the MX world?

I mention this question only out of curiosity because "confederacy" in Engish can lexically and historically carry with it some interesting connotations.

That's difficult to explain Dcox, with the word I mean a union or something like AMA, FIM etc. We have a few of different amateur unions here in Belgium namely VLM, MCLB, FMPL and so on. Can you please give me the right word for it. I don't want to upset anyone you see

I forgot. I saw Ronny this weekend (we had a great time celebrating his birthday!!! is't ni Ronny!!! ) I asked about his starting problems and they where gone now. He made some air holes or something in his carburetor. We didn't discuss it further but I hope he see this and explain it himself!!!

A friend of mine has an 04 450sx, thats a wicked bike!

After a crash, use the hotstart button and give it no gas, and kick.

No, no, Frakke, the word you used is fine . . . I was just trying to get at the term you were using for this English one.

"Confederacy" in English can be used in contexts with political and social connotations, and I was merely curious as to what the Belgium equivalent of the AMA would be--and to some extent, you have already answered my question.

[Off-topic comment . . . .]

By the way, Frakke, I just downloaded the ATM screensaver and I wanted to tell you that those racing pics you sent are excellent! I particularly like that flat-track style sweeper turn . . . .

IMO, you Belgians put us to shame in how serious you look in this sport--which, historically speaking, is precisely how I guess it should be (no offense intended American comrades).

Thanks Dcox, I have to agree. For such a small country we have alot of great riders. There are even states in the US that are much bigger then Belgium!!!
