FINNALY!!!I have NO bog and NO sudden stall. It starts good, idles good, and overall has more crisp power every where. What was wrong? I had everything correct and JD's reccomendations were correct BUT after everything was said and dun and I had tried every single jetting combo in the kit I thought, is my acp even working?I pulled my subframe off for best access to the carb and twisted the throttle. No, it was not working so I took the cover off and saw that when I got my new float boal I put the diaphram and spring in upside down so the spring was holding it DOWN.Now I have the 185 main in for best power and adjusted my acp and fuel screw for best snap.

Thank you tire biter for giving me great info on adjusting my fuel screw and jetting, now it is PERFECT

BTW, I've made that same mistake- the upside down diaphragm, wassup with the squirt, why is my bike a POS?.
At first, problems'll drive ya nuts, but kinda refreshing when the problem's somthing simple.
look at it this way, now that your familiar with the inner workings of an FCR, you can help your friends!
Man, there's tons of info on them out there..
one of my favorites..
I know- Husaberg, but they share the same carb..

Read it, then re-read it, then save it. Good point of reference.
Yes us KTM guys DO need to stick together! Cody, don't feel bad about the mistake. This will only reinforce your knowledge the next time. If you want a good laugh read the following. This happened to me about 5 years ago.

So Tracy and I decided to clean out her carb on her XR250. This was the first time I had ever dug into a carb so I was nervous as hell. I got her all cleaned up, jets blown out and all the passageways cleared. Put it all back together and looked down at the table...Oh good, no extra parts...I'm safe. Got the carb back on the bike and went over Everything. Went and gave a good manly kick....no go...OK, tried for about 2 minutes and had flashbacks of the buns of steel videos. I was beat. I finally got one last kick in and she lit up. Sweet...so I thought. She idled a little funny so I adjusted to a slower idle. Kicked it into 2nd and took off. Just as I switched gears I got the bog from hell. Great.... I pushed her back up the street as she didn't want to light up. Took the carb apart and inspected...I don't see anything wrong. Now the first time I had hard time getting the float bowl on. Didn't think anything of it..I just thought that was normal. the 2nd going around I still had a heck of a time putting it on. Got the carb back on and lit her up....this time I bumped started it. She lit up and I shifted into 3...then to 4th....then she bogged. This time I was about a 1/4 mile away....great...I started pushing....again. I really didn't want to take the carb back apart so I called reinforcements. Chris (P1M) came over and pulled off the carb. He pulled the float bowl off and inspected everything. "Dude, thats the cleanest carb I have ever seen. Everything looks normal but why......." He fell on the floor laughing hysterically. I mean he was literally crying. "how in the hell did you get that bike to even run with the float bowl upside down"............

How did you manage that???O and about us ktm guys sticking together,I have helped convince many guys here at croom to make the SWITCH to ktm. Most trail riders but some motocrossers, lots of guys didnt care about the suspension or jetting because they always got there bikes re-sprung and re-jetted anyway.I think its just the light nimble feeling they have,O and the motor.Took my bike around the yard again today and it started first kick which is ganna take some getting used to,and has instant throttle response from any rpm If any of you guys are in the area let me know and we can hit up some of the local tracks,I will be at croom from thursday-sat so I wont be on here for a few days.
