Heres the situation. I changed the oil in my bike for the first time since I got it. (about 30-40 hours that I put on it) I put in motorex cross power 4t 10W/50. Since I did this, my bike started like it always has, first kick no problem. I wait ten minutes, kick it again and its perfect. If I wait about 30 to 45 minutes after its running, it will NOT start. I need to wait about another hour for it to start. I have no idea whats goin on. After an hour it starts first kick like it always does, is it the oil? I am going a little crazy over this.

If you have a 4 stroke check your valve clearances. They are probably tight.

30 to 40 hours seems like alot of time between oil changes to me,IMO

im just guessing that its a four stroke. the problem is that when they get hot, they can be very difficult to start. im also guessing that it has a hot start lever, and im guessing that u tryed useing that to help u get it started. sometimes the hot start gets out of adjustment, check the manual to see how to adjust it, and that will help. and also put a boysen supercooler on it and im sure that will help get rid of some heat also. and if the valves are tight that can make it hard to start, but i would think that would be all the time, especially when its cold, but i dont know. good luck!

its a 2006 sxf, I definatly put too many hours on that oil. I was thinking that it may be the valves, I have never done an adjustment, this is my first 4 stroke, so I i dont know how to work on them.

Thanks yammahammer, It ended up being the hot start. I went through everything, and found where it goes into the carb was loose and dangling, tightened it and it starts like it always has. Thank you and everyone for thier help.
